Research Profiles

The culmination of the Master of Science (MS) Degree Program in Computer and Information Sciences at Knowledge Systems Institute is the Thesis Project. The core of Knowledge Systems Institute's mission is not only to provide a thriving educational environment for students who wish to become fluent in computer and information sciences, but also to provide students with the tools and resources necessary to delve into the creative process of conducting their own research. The Thesis Project, an individual research project, is the cornerstone of the MS Degree Program.

To browse through the titles and abstracts of former students and to get a sense of the breadth and depth of knowledge that has been collectively explored at our Institute, select MS Projects Archive.

The Institute also sponsors two annual conferences as well as the accompanying journals: the International Conference on Software Engineering and Knowledge Engineering (SEKE) and the International Conference on Distributed Multimedia Systems (DMS). Students are encouraged not only to attend, but also to submit their papers. For more information on either conference, select Conferences.
